Natalia Gr ądzka
ARTIST

Designer of own jewelry collections, handbags, assemblages, theatrical costumes, collages and graphics. An initiator in arts education.
Natalia was born in Warsaw, Poland. She studied sculpture at the prestigious University of Fine Arts in Warsaw under Professor Piotr Gawron. In addition, Natalia’s love of the theatre and performing arts led her to study make-up artistry and costume design.
It inspired her to make the traditional craft of sewing mastery into Haute Couture art celebrating feminine beauty. She also got her art knowledge studying at Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, Italy. There she created her own unique design style.
Natalia works with a wide array of materials such as cloth, clay, plasticine, gypsum, wax, paper, paper-mâché, silver, brass and bronze. She has designed and created many sculptures, costumes, jewelery, ceramics, drawings, paintings and artistic installations for a wide range of recipients.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Natalia believes that when you look at an artist’s work, you embark on a personal journey where you become an observer, a listener and a speaker. Because we are all different, every experience you have, no matter how large or small it may be, becomes exceptional and unique. These personal experiences are the small threads that become the tapestry of your life. Every thread is special. Every thread has its own story. And every thread is essential. As such, each individual experience in your life is a non-separable element which in turn gives context to art.
In a recent interview, Natalia explained, “The main theme of my work is life and its wide breath… It’s physical and emotional states, the multi-dimensionality of life, as well as its beginning and end. What I do is very personal to me, as I mainly use my own experiences as a source of inspiration.”
